We were recently contacted by a business operating a commercial kitchen who were unable to open due to flooding. Our Manchester based emergency drainage response team were quickly on the scene to help restore order to the kitchen.
The CDC engineers established that the flooding was due to a blocked pump station as a result of faulty pumps. The team managed to empty the pumping chamber and got the pumps working once again to solve the immediate fault. They then recommended replacement pumps be installed to fix the long term issue. Finally once finished they even took the time to clean the kitchen floor and leave the business able to open and operate once again.
